The character named Marie in this series already appeared in the manga and was in the WN for this series (first shows up in the tournament I think). I'm just wondering if that bit is a reference, because it's exactly what happened with Trapped in a Dating Sim.
welp guess i mixed up Marie with another character who should appeared later, my mistake

Does anybody actually care about the old world side of this story
Literally who gives a shit about the origin
That doesnt need explaining
Its one step removed from going "it was all just a dream lolol"

Poor MC, now he knows what it's like to be subject to shipping fan fic (at this point, that's what I'm going to define the alternative routes, regardless of who is making them 😜)

I find it interesting, there's a big mystery about why the game in the "real world" is being affected by what Elrise does in the "game world" and it's a newer way of showing to the MC how their actions have changed the outcome of their new world. Personally, I've always been rather curious about whether or not the actions a person Isekaied into a game has any affect on what players see on Earth 🤔

Maybe I'm an idiot, but I did not see this twist coming. Maybe it would've been more obvious if I had binged it instead of reading on release.

the last chapter from the 'author' reveals that this game was adapted from a novel that won the novel competition, so basically the 'author' is just a novel writer who entered a contract with the game company after the competition, and more importantly, originally the novel is about Elrise who save the world, but the game company didn't like this idea and think it was too cliche for a single person to be op in the story so they shift the protag in the game to Vernel and made it a galge game, the 'author' quite upset about it, so the game company has no choice but to include Elrise route and the true story of the novel as a hidden route

Mostly the time travel itself. They never got to talk to the world per se, so they didn't get confirmation on how exactly the time travel happened. Time dilation generally throws you FORWARD in time, after all.

they did not say it was time travel, but the fact that Niito's soul from Timeline A was sent to the past of Timeline B is confirmed, and I think the details should be like this
Niito died in Timeline A but did not die properly, his soul split and reincarnated in another world, but because Niito did not die properly the timeline forcefully split into timeline B but the time of the split timeline began at the time moment Elrise(Niito) was born),
so yes, we can say that Elrise(Niito) did not travel to the past, but the timeline was created the moment Niito's soul split and reincarnated in Fiori
this was explained by the author in chapter 74 of WN so I think there's no mistake in it

There is no mystery
The answer is the author thought it would be funny
And the justification is gonna be some magic god bullshit where one world is bleeding into the other or whatever kind of generic shit they pulled out of their ass
Answering this "mystery" is a complete waste of time

Japanese and general amateur writers are obsessed with trying to explain their premise
Im sure you think you got a very cool explanation but nobody gives a fuck, itdoesnt enrich the story in any way
As if anybody needed to know how and why mega jesus created magic in every shitty little E grade isekai

So you've decided your opinion is the only that matters, you do you, but just leave the rest of us out of it.

Takes a high level of consumerism to feel personally attacked by that
Man, what an ego. I'm just saying, if you don't like the direction a series is taking, then just drop the series or take a break from it, there's no point in just being bitter about what is supposed to be an activity done for leisure. It's fine if you don't like it, but all you've done is complain and then be unreasonable in your own denial of my viewpoint (which never invalidated your own, as I only explained another perspective.) If you want to be bitter about something, don't go trying to drag others down with you, simple as that 🤷
