You'd think a teacher would be worried about a younger kid saying they hate their parents versus someone that might be an edgy hormonal teen. Plus wounds don't heal that fast so hopefully someone would notice lol. (that said even with the 'errands' thing that young kids can do i'd think it'd be concerning if it was only a kid always doing the shopping for stuff)

Teachers should be trained to at least send the kid to visit the school psychiatrist. Spotting abuse is literally part of the job. But instead of asking for details to judge the situation she guilted the kid into being quiet with her own dad's death.
