C'mon Author. Giving people something to laugh at during these troubling times is a great service. Don't be so hard on yourself.

The last thing we need is more things focused on social issues. People are already sick and tired of their entertainment being bombarded to hell and back with social issues that are heavily slanted to one side. If anything people need an outlet to relax and calm their minds now more than ever since everything is so inflammatory

So, that squid merchant is a kidnapper and a fucking slaver? Jinguuji needs to have a "chat" with him.

A squid cult... so that's why.

Also author, social issues are something we shouldn't bother upon.. we're more thankful to have a good laugh than to sulk in our depressed society anyways..

.. if author-sama can even read this :<

Oww that note, I always believe that you should choose the profession that will make you happy, seeing that note makes me think that most manga artists and authors don't really find their place in society that valuable but they shouldn't think less of themselves. They provide a lot of people with entertainment during these trying times.

Jinnguji used the word “pandemic” for something Tachibana might cause, but wouldn’t “stampede” be better? obvious i don’t know what the original says or if pandemic is an idiom in japanese, so this might not be accurate. However, it would make more sense in English to say he would cause a stampede, though i can see someone arguing that a more exact translation would be better, regardless of the connotations.

One Tachibana, bagged for your convenience.

I feel for the author. On one hand, you want to be able to say that your work has had some positive and profound impact on the world, but on the other, you also just want to make something fun that people can use to unwind.
