Spoiler talk aside, the dad must have good taste. Long hair is nice when it's arranged nicely(normally an updo), but short hair is nice 24/7. There's just so much more going on visually with short hair. Besides, grow hair to the middle of your back for a year and *then* tell me how great it is. Having long hair is a chore and it gets soooo hot in the summer. If people didn't occasionally tell me I look like a boy with my hair short, I'd keep it short. 😭
