I feel like I just got stabbed. The shock is overwhelming, but this is definitely necessary as Tatsu was about to recklessly advance their relationship.

I’m genuinely shocked. But tbh I’m ok with this development, if you’re gonna commit to marrying her, ya gotta look past the hair

I just thought of a way for him to test her without harming himself, just wear a big backpack whenever they're together. It can be empty too as all it needs to do is hide his back :p

I get the message they are going for: "love me as a person not bc of hair", but from Tatsu perpective could come across as something like "i dont like this aspect of you (fetish) get over it". I'm porbablt reading too much into it, just dont try this irl guys

The amount of virginity in these coms is overwelming...

"Kotoka is a bitch she cut her hair" "this bitch only testing him"
So people forgot that he was never intersted in her, nor in her body until a few chapter ago? All he was thinking was her hair.

On the other hand Kotoka was trying to get closer to him with other thing than fetich, wile keeping the fetich part.
The girls got an incredible erotic body and the dude never ever got any interest in it...
Same for the date, when he was with his childhoud friend he acted like a normal dude, and when he was with her he was unable to act proprely...

It's obvious that she will snap when the dude cant even prove he want her more that her hair, and he failed multiple time...

And, for real you call her a bitch cose she cut her hair? So she is not free to chose wich hair cut she want? If Tatsu was a real hair fetichist he would love her new hair cut and use this oportunity to get her to try new thing with it...

She would have never have cut her hair if he didnt fail each time she tested him...

Okay, okay, all dumb comments like "now he has to cut his back" or "she's wearing a wig" or "this is pointless drama" aside, could someone who has been in relationships tell:

- Does stuff like this happen in real relationships? Like asking "what do you like about me" right after a partner makes a proposal (or in general, when you've been into obviously romantic relationships for a pretty long time).
- If yes, and it was you who asked such a question, then tell me: why did you ask it? What made you ask it?

Disclaimer:
- It's not a sarcasm.
- No, I haven't been in (such) relationships.
- Yes, I genuinely do not understand why real people might do such things.
- Yes, I'm a stupid child / virgin /[put another humiliating word here] who doesn't understand, now, oh wise one, please either answer or ignore. Thanks in advance.

@jdjohndoe13 I've only read the last two chapters of this manga cuz I saw spoilers on reddit, but I got the gist of it. Yeah sure, anyone could ask this if they're feeling unsure of why someone is with them, for instance a person might think someone is with them only because of their body or because they have lots of money, all in all, one dimensional love.

@jdjohndoe13 speaking strictly from my own personal experience, a lot of people, including myself have a lot of insecurities and just hearing my partner say what i want to hear and adress those insecurities and saying "its okay" can feel very liberating.

Manga always adds a layer of drama to it though its much more subdued in real life, but there have been times where ive asked similar things because it just feels good to hear their answers/reassurances even if i already knew what they were going to say.

the more you know your partner id say the less frequent it becomes. (english is my second language sorry, but hope this provides a little insight.)

Power move.

I thought the author was setting something up by focusing on her hair for half the chapter.

Plus she still has the knot on her finger. Nice detail

As someone who likes the look of long hair it saddens me every time when a girl in manga wants "change" (herself or anything else really) and decides the best way to do that is to cut her hair short. It happens so often, I wish I was prepared this time, since in hindsight it would be so obvious that this would happen, but I wasn't. Fuck all of this.
