Wow this is one hell of a ride. I always knew the inevitable dark twist this story would take from your normal teenage fight story but this was even more surprising than I thought. There were some hint from the beginning and this chapter solidified that there is no turning to how things were used to be now. The author is really good.

Finally the sewage fight scene of jitae going absolutely bonkers for life and death with the contracts of other students living there youth was fukin peak kudos.

I love how maria had whole change of heart once she found out young-woong is a victim of the surgery and tried helping him first, we got to see a whole other side of her which we dont get to see much of.

DAMN that was a long chapter. I saw a comment saying that the person Maria was fighting in her flashback that also had a scar looked like her brother, and if so that makes so much sense as to why she was so affected by the scar and trying to HELP young-hoon
Still hoping Ji-Tae gets a redemption arc and doesn't just stay a one-dimensional psycho who attacks everything that breathes

The author has been cookin! all the drugs they took must've paid off. Other than backstory dark pasts stuff we have to deal with actual death pools, corpses and human experimentations in the present too. Feels like a turning point.

Also Youngwoong. feels like a waste of opportunity to build him up to be a proper villain in the end. his motivations and ideals would've been great. but I guess we still be focusing on mysterious jiu dae gak. since he ded now.

funny how the author just sides by side the slice of life everyone is having, showing the vibe they had in the first few chapters to now this! where things can actually get dangerous to the point of dying and nearly dying.

First time we see Maria got beat badly too and fuckin Hell Ji Tae isnt letting up. using skulls and corpses as weapons now. fearage is really something to behold. I wonder how merciless he will be in the octagon soon.
