Finer controls for Follows

I just got nearly 300+ chapters dumped into my Follows by Mangastream. I don't want to block Mangastream and render myself unable to see their chapters, but can't we limit the number of chapters showing up in Follows when there are a large volume of chapters being uploaded? Thank you.

It would be better if Follows would only show new chapters added as new if chapter number actually goes up, so we don't have whole page(s) spammed with old chapters that some group was finally allowed to upload. there's nothing wrong with new version being added, but very annoying when it's shown in Follows.

Then again, new version might have extra content or for instance uncersored version etc, so some checkbox for uploader that this is actually updated version would be good, but then as OP said, just trim updates shown in follows per Title, like if it exceeds 5 chapters, show just 2 last and 2 first of the updated and dots in betweeen, so if you want to see whole thing you just go to the title.

maybe have this kind of behavior optional if some people like to get whole mangas they've already read fill the pages and try to see if there's actually anything new in-between.

@xiso with what you proposed, if someone decides to release the final chapter early, every chapter that would be released by the groups following them wouldn't be marked as a new chapter :x

and we want people to care about chapters for a series even if it's done by another group. Otherwise it just incentives an environment where speedscans get rewarded and quality scans that take their time get screwed

@Plykiya What about compact view for updated chapters that I also mentioned? And, as it stands speedscans do get rewarded if what they do is of acceptable quality for reader, otherwise user may block the group and wait for better versions to show up.
