Newcastle haven't beat Sunderland in the PL since 2010 (beat them in FA cup)

Sunderland having a very good season after promotion. Leeds doing decently as well - it'll be a nice change of pace to have two of the promoted teams stick around for more than a season.

At least he'll finish the rest of the season with Atlético. There was some speculation that he would leave midway through the season.

He's not a regular starter anymore, but he's not useless either. He started against Real Madrid today. I hope he has something left in the tank for the MLS!

Yes, it's sad. But football is a business, and he has regressed significantly this season. At his age, it's all downhill from here.
