Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin's singer) is an honorary VP of Wolves, who are hosting Spurs today. (Not really important, just thought that was a fun tidbit... though if the Wolves PA starts playing 'Nobody's Fault But Mine' should Spurs lose... :smug: )
Almost time for L classico :kek:

The vibe at Wembley right now is basically "David vs Goliath" stalemate. Despite Man City hogging about 70% of the ball, the score is stuck at 0-0 at the break, and Southampton honestly look like they’re enjoying the stress.

I'm expecting City to crank the tempo. Southampton will likely have one more big counter-attack chance, but the data screams a late City breakthrough. I'm feeling 2-0 for City. Their "death by a thousand passes" usually finds a way in the second act.

Talk about a rollercoaster. The City breakthrough prediction held up, but I definitely didn’t have "Southampton taking the lead in the 79th minute" on my bingo card. City got caught sleepwalking, and that was just the thing it needed to snap out of it.

Their "death by a thousand passes" finally turned into "death by a couple of rockets." City is proving once again that they don't need to play well for 90 minutes, they just need to be lethal for five.
