The ending is kinda weak.... surely she'll call/contact Fran or ambulance the moment that happened if it's in 'reality' as Fran said... why isn't Fran at school that day too?

and Fran not preparing an antidote for her in the first place is purposeful on the author's part or simply Fran being a clumsy girl...? doubt it tho.
