I feel like it's prolly a bad TL, considering the town is also called golem and was called goremu in the tl. It original prolly was something like "way to go!" or just other generics words of encouragement, can't be arsed to dig up the raws and check though.

If the weight is added to the stone, I doubt the string around his neck is going to suffice. And it also makes it slightly pointless, since weight is the main issue when you travel, not bulk.
