Ah man, that ending was abrupt. Afterwords seems to indicate ran out of room in volume 2 and maybe not enough for volume 3, but maybe the axe man cometh. It was a cute story nevertheless.

Quite a strange ending. Discovering and resolving a core plot point in a few panels is something else.
