I like how when she first appeared one might assume, from the general premise of the manga, that she and her son would be horrible people but no. She's just casually the best person in this whole tale and her son is merely pathetic (in the least offensive application of the term) rather than anything close to malevolent.

Doloris is the one and only straw that will make me drop this manga. She is the most gentle and caring person in this manga. Raol's sister and mother seemed to be equally good but we sadly didn't get the chance to know them better.
