Function to “hide/block” specific series.

I as many other readers use the “latest” sort by option, since it both shows when series you already read gets an update, but it also shows you completely new series when they are added to Mangadex or shows you series that you maybe didnt know because they havent had an update in a long time.

I know you can block tags you dont want to see, but I would like an function where I could hide/block a specific series, so I dont have to see them when they get updated. Cause there are series that I just dont want to see/get reminded exist, but because their tags are very generic I cant block/hide the series by just blocking a tag.

Dont know how possible this is, but would just be extremely nice to have such a function.

I mean you just need to double click on a tag you dont want to see and it excludes it, in the advanced search page.

oh, you mean advanced search. Why do you bring up advanced search when at first you talked about "latest"? In latest you cant filter out tag.
Unless you use latest sort within the advanced search, but then I don't know why you would do that since it doesn't actually work properly either.

What you mean it doesnt work either in advanced search? It works perfectly for me when I use advanced search and sort by latest.

I mean that sorting by latest doesn't work in advanced search, filtering works fine. (Sorting doesn't work because it will give you ANY recent update, even when it's in a language you don't read and have otherwise filtered out)

Basically if you actually want latest updates, you cant filter and if you want to filter, you can't get proper latest.

Oh, yeah the language is buggy af, but its not something that annoy me a whole lot. What annoys me is the fact that I just cant hide specific mangas I dont want to see…
