function to hide "unavailable" chapters from my follows. :implemented:

I get that scanlation groups should be able to remove their chapters from mangadex if they so desire, but "uploading" new chapters and then instantly blocking them to basically have them on mangadex just so they can not have them on magadex just kinda pisses me off.
i'm willing to go and donate to scanlation groups if i like their quality and read a lot of series they translate, but seeing this makes me hate them and i go to random aggregator sites out of spite.
the option to remove your translated chapter i get, but if you do you should be unable to upload chapters from the same manga until you've at least unlocked your chapters for some time or some sh##.
this just aggravates me to no end...^^

btw i also get the delay functionality and i'm willing to wait because mangadex is the superior reading platform.

change your settings to hide the unavailable chapters. The reason why those chapters are uploaded on MD is so that in case the group decides to change their policy in regards to MD or they die the mods can just flip the switch and make them all available off the bat without having to dig for them. Also most of the time the uploaders have nothing to do with the groups translating the series so yeah.

ah, ok. nvm then. will hide them then. kinda felt like the group uploaded them just to have em here to "advertise" should've looked at the actual uploader and see what they added. thx mate.

can't rename or delete this so . maybe a mod can? don't know. this thread was just me bein stupid. :3
