I’m just curious how mating would actually be handled. Are all elves like birds with the cloaca and stuff... erm... yeah?
Not only that, but this means they are a single-gendered yet bisexually reproducing species, so they probably evolved from bisexually reproducing “normally gendered” species, so did elves slowly evolve these traits because of extremely low birth rates and high lifespans, so they have few chances for mating to occur (hence like certain lizard species they can partake in either gender’s role), or did elves evolve from some sort of humanoid asexually reproducing species from this alternate universe?
