Here comes the REAL MC
I don't believe you meant to write kanji there. Isn't it the same syllable? Many nouns are nothing but a single kanji.I think many of the readers will probably have heard of Shiritori before so know this already, but the explanation at the end missed out the key rule that each word must start with the same kanji that the previous word ended with.
Yeah, that commenter probably meant "kana" and not "kanji". Each kana, meaning a single symbol from either hiragana or katakana, is essentially a syllableI don't believe you meant to write kanji there. Isn't it the same syllable? Many nouns are nothing but a single kanji.

I meant to write kana, like the other commenter said. I got the roles of kanji and hiragana/katakana mixed up in my head, was thinking that a kanji character is a single "syllable" (syllable isn't quite the right word but you get what I mean). 🙃I don't believe you meant to write kanji there. After a good night's sleep, I was able to localize it and make a game of word chain fit the narrative, so I fixed both the note and the pages where they played the game.I think many of the readers will probably have heard of Shiritori before so know this already, but the explanation at the end missed out the key rule that each word must start with the samekanjikana that the previous word ended with.
