Smoker's scent route is not one I would ever personally recommend, but I am a sucker for sniffing play.

PHEW. Took me like 50 chapters to finally remember who Seri reminds me of lookwise. She reminds me of Reina Izumi from Musaigen no Phantom World. And they share a similar personality, rather shy but always try their best. 👀

Wow, liking the smell of someone elses smokes was so surreal to see.

For normal cigarettes, I doubt many non-smokers would find the scent pleasant. Shouko seems to be smoking flavored ones that have a more pleasant odor. The only tobacco smoke that doesn't smell bad to me is many pipe tobaccos. But even those give me a horrible headache.

Wow, liking the smell of someone elses smokes was so surreal to see. Many non smokers I know would shame you for being a filthy Smoker. Just because Society sends the lynchmob against people enjoying tabbacco. I hate those people.

For people old enough to have lived through the period when smoking was legal and widespread in public buildings, that's understandable. A great example as to why was restaurants. If the smoking section was full, many smokers would take a seat in the no smoking section and light up anyway. Not all smokers were assholes, but enough were that it made many non-smokers hate them all.

But even though that's not possible anymore, there's still plenty of smokers who are assholes. For example, I'm sure you've noticed cigarette butts all over the ground in smoking spots. You've probably even seen other smokers toss their butts on the ground when there's a receptacle for them nearby. I've actually seen people light up in Walmart on multiple occasions, apparently feeling the law doesn't apply to them. Again, not all smokers are assholes, but the ones that are help give the rest a bad name.

I've personally never treated anyone badly because they smoke, but I can understand why some people do because of things like the above.

Depressing to see her pick up smoking, like damn, best time to not smoke was before you started, second best time is now, but nah she's realistically gonna stick with that.

Also depressing to see people making smoking a personality trait in the replies. That's an addiction no one should have to have, not some fun quirk.

I don't think anyone should be bullied for smoking, because again, it's an addiction, but you're really happy to see someone, even fictional, get addicted to something that kills you? Sorry to hear it.

If she's that susceptible to what people around her are doing then I suppose we're lucky becoming a chimney is the worst thing to happen. She works in TV, bound to be a lot worse than tobacco going on.
