To everyone saying this is an ntr manga its not. When you are not in a relationship with someone and they find someone else they start to like thats just how life is. The story is actually very wholesome for the most part. I for one support akari.
Just because one has a crush on someone does not mean they can't develop a crush on someone else. And to the childhood friend she is a character that is interesting to say the least. If you don't like it when the childhood friend loses then you don't have to read this manga but she has her moments.
Some slight spoilers as for why i support akari.
akari grows as a character to be really kind and caring to jirou. They have many wholesome and ecchi moments that give you sugar overloads. Akari tends to take the initiative more with jirou but shiori does as well. Shiori at first doesn't do much but later in the manga i forgot but i think she realizes that she might be losing jirou and decides to start pushing more but while she succeds in initiating intimacy with him she overwhelmingly fails at actually conveying her feelings. He always thinks that she just did it to do it or that she messed up and didn't actually mean it. And the biggest fact as to why i don't fully support her is that she FRIENDZONED HIM. He got friendzoned by her so it is her fault in the first place that this is happening.
Don't go telling me "oh she didn't mean it like that". How else is our boy supposed to take it. If the girl i liked said lets still be friends or stay friends (forgot what she said exactly) then i would almost automaticly think she was friendzoneing me. Like how else are we supposed to take that. Like if she said are you still willing to be friends or do you want to go into the next year as friends, well something along those lines then i would think i still have a chance but her basically declearing that she wants to stay friends to me is a friendzone. Well i would also need to her the tone but from this one i feel that it was a decleration. Sorry about the rant.
MC likes Childhood Friend right? But Gyaru is starting to have some feelings for the MC. Im not sure if CF is just acting or not but currently I feel like she's not interested in MC. But, translators are still updating this. Maybe plot gets juicier later on? 🤔🤔
In my opinion there isn’t any bad NTR and if there even is any it’s like the weakest NTR there could ever be, it’s basically just a childhood friend vs New Girl romance story
His situation is so painfully relatable I'm crying while smashing my head on my desk laughing. Never really expected it to be something more but still, painful nonetheless
@Dadangdut33 it's basically Japan, you know, the country with the lowest birth rates in the world? Of course something like this would be made into a manga plot lmao
The plot is a bit cliche. Toradora formula, but with a little bit of twist.
And if I have to pick between the gyaru or the childhood friend, obviously...GYARU FTW!!!
