MC could use Turn undead spell and this would be over in seconds... Just saying...
If author doesn't want MC to use large variety of spells that are suited for specific scenarios... Don't write MC that would have them...

It's interesting how literally every time there's a religious leader in manga they're corrupt lol

I am so sick of the church= bad guy trope in isekai. It would be fine once in a while but it happens all the time.

At this point, it is more of a plot twist when the church isn't the bad guy.

As a religious person, I can tell you that us "believers" do not take things at face value.

For example, I strongly disagree with the real world Pope on many issues and I am not alone in this.

Beliving In God does automatically make a person a brain dead drone.

There are fanatical people out there but they are a minority and not the norm.

@MonkeyDTrump Well, this takes place in a pseudo-medieval period. This trope is just par for the course of how the church was like back then. Also, back then the pope was literally seen by the common people as the speaker for god instead of just be the religious figure he is today. So, going against the words of the church was like going against the god they worshiped. Even today, we still have people willing to kill and discriminate against people just because of the words in some old book.

so the other skeleton is some kind of a necromancer, while arc is a holy knight. two skeletons of opposite orders, that's pretty darn cool.

Why do ninjas have to cover their mouth and noses before entering battle?
I think it's partly to hide their faces and partly as camouflage during nighttime infiltration, since their bright faces would clearly reflect light otherwise. Both reasons are of course completely irrelevant in a direct confrontation between colleagues during daytime. In popular culture face masks have just become one of those things that identify them as ninja, so I feel like the author is having them cover their faces to convey that it's NINJA FIGHT TIME.
