Bro really gave them a modern, high-end restaurant kitchen when just a few months ago these people didn't even have leavened bread.
That's the one thing that kinda kills me about this manga - that they didn't have leavened bread. Thing is, we've had leavened bread since the days of the ancient Greeks. Sources of leavening agents were taken from things like foam skimmed from the top of beer (though this was mostly the Iberians and Gauls) and grape must from wine. The Greeks even had the idea of a freestanding oven, but I don't know if they were the first to actually implement it.
It wasn't like this was hard to research. A quick five minute search on Wikipedia was all I needed.
It's just so jarring to see a setting that looks like at least the Late Middle-Ages and the Renaissance, and yet they had no leavened bread. There's just no way they could have missed that when they obviously have fermented products like wine.
