Yeah, I was honestly impressed, too. It shows that she really knows her priorities when she sets her mind to them, and I respect that.

Huh, but workplace romance is pretty common, so why wouldn't it?

There may be more of that kind of thing going on in manga and anime lately, but that might be an indicator for how lacking such a premise is in reality these days. It might have been more common in the past, sure, but with divorce rates getting higher and sexual harassment charges popping up more between employees in workplaces (usually enacted by women), workplace romance will become as dead as chivalry in due time.
