Even as someone with...less than vanilla tastes in doujins, I gotta say that this was unnecessary, completely so. Like what the actual fuck did this turn into ? This literally came out of nowhere ! At least most manga that do these things actually make you expect it to some extent. It feels like the guy heard he was gonna get axed and then decided to go down and take his series with him for no reason other than anger.

Even without the fact that this series was hot garbage even before this “arc”, it gives it the air of exceptional garbage. This was a massive waste of the author, reader, and publishers time and money, not just because of what it was, but because of what it turned into.

I only hope that the author takes his actually decent talent for art and decides to put his name towards something of value in the future instead of just trying to pander to the lowest common denominator with a genre he very clearly has no experience with (and seemingly no passion for) simply because it’s popular.
