The more traditional (anime) otaku and gal story, as opposed to Bisque Doll, which had a far more esoteric aiming-to-be-a-pro hobbyist in Gojou's character. It's a setting far older than Bisque Doll, so I guess I shouldn't be comparing other series to it, but it can't be helped that Bisque Doll carries extra weight.

Meh if its good is good, the story is basically nerdy guy/girl befriends and maybe gets together with the popular girl/guy but with a few extra bits here and there.
