@Phantoxic pretty dumb logic, well the series pretty much is saying that all of those girls like the MC (the mom and the 2 sisters),
so her not telling him is trying to get his approval for getting information by herself (loli wants some headpats) aaaaand trying to not make the guy use dark moves to do that (she knows he's dirty but also got tsun tsun when the MC tasted that thicc sensei)

Being smart doesn't make you wise, that's what i feel about this chapter

She's smart, but never encounter malice in her own world. Different than Sasae which live in that kind of environment. And because she's that smart that she think the answer she's comes out always the right one. You can say that it's stupid logic, but it's just that you got different sense of things/common sense so the logic behind it become different as well.
