It's been a while but iirc he's kinda op theoretically but you're right, his character is... princess-like in execution.

Is anybody else just hate-reading this directionless sludge now? Wasn't the original conceit that he was a reincarnated "gamer," whose past life memories would fade except for some concept of enjoying being a gamer? On the bright side, effeminate shota/mega-twink/otokonoko Wayne isn't burdened by past-life memories of being a masculine Chad gamer. On the downside apparently he dropped the gamer part too because we haven't seen that since Ch 1, so what was the fucking point of the isekai intro. As far as trash isekai MCs go Wayne is fucking awful. He looked kinda cool at the end of Ch 1, in his little suit, with his little invisible gun and harem future. And then 6 chapters of magic school tropes in the gayest little uniform set in.
And the way he always sits with his hands between his thighs annoys me

Depends really. If there was a lot of incest like here on earth it could be an issue. But if they're civilization is young enough, or fantasy magic or the divines just hand wave such issues away, there really isn't much worry for genetic mutations due to incest.
NGL, it honestly feels weird that that I typed out a similar response in another manga not long ago...

Anyway, I don't know how to feel about the MC. It seems them being the main sexual objects has become more common with ecchi/adult manga lately, and people have been throwing constant complaints about the reverse happening more.

Usually in other manga MC is a wuss even if he's the strongest but here MC's mother is stronger so he really doesn't have much say, unless he logics his way out like with Edna here
Theoretically he is. He even said it himself that he should aim for a legs so not to kill anyone.
Unfortunately no mater how OP his Gun is, it's doesn't matter if it doesn't hit.
I don't remember him fighting (apart been beaten by the girls) at all and we don't know what and how much he receive from god.

Incest is a strangely common trope for a lot of cultures. Both as a taboo and a fetish. But it is typically hidden in the dark corners were few would find it. Japanese culture has always been more then a little weird. They rarely shy away from the taboos that other cultures conceal and tends to display it openly rather then keep them hidden away.
So it's not so much that this is a new trend in manga, it's just that as managa becomes more revenant to a broader audience, the weirdness that was always there is leaking out. And like anything thats controversial, we've come to the point where individuals with strong opinions on both side of the issue are vomiting out said opinions as loudly and frequently as possible...

I wasn't expecting to go from sex rotations to a band of people carefully planning out their journey through a mountain, and talking about managing their provisions and such. It's only a few pages, but it's still more in depth survival planning than I see in mangas... pretty much ever.
It's not a big surprise. Incest is never going to naturally be widespread, due to various factors, but the sheer amount of disgust and vitriol thrown its way in modern times is not natural either. It's a product of decades of eugenicist indoctrination, the last major holdover from back when anyone took eugenics seriously. There's no reason cultures that have never had to deal with eugenics would have such a major reaction to it.
