I know the author(artist) is a patriotic guy, but the spiel about "kill the non-human and 're-educate' people" really necessary?

Author has a hard on for nationalism, and is really shoving it in our faces, but China is reeducating and forcing contraception and sterilization on an entire minority population in their country. So if they are doing it to other humans in their own country, I think it's a plausible isekai scenario.

I aso don't like how Diablo gets a reprieve from his crimes.
