So the dipshit prince was planning to use a strategy that is was already proved ineffective by their own country story, well not that we couldn't tell that using monsters of that caliber that have some level of sentience was a terrible idea, but now we know that all these jackasses should have the knowledge of that as they are supposed to be the strategic elite of this country.

Now i want to give some thought for one thing, if the portal wasn't open what do you guys think would be of the empire? Would it have the same fate of the Roman empire or it would thrive to become something else?

While Pina had to 'work' for her ambition (and therefore gaining brains) in that male dominant society, Zorzal was a Crown Prince who would be "praised and loved" by every leech in the castle while being groomed to be a puppet the moment he was born, and learning more about court politics/patriotism(Also narcissism since King is Country belief) instead of combat. Made even worse in that the Empire was actually literally the strongest force in the world, fueling his pride further.


It is too bad all the court politics and narcissistic patriotism won't save him from aliens.

@alacaelum Pretty sure those elites are more skilled in flattering and not so much strategy since they actually need to flatter the narcissistic royalty to get to their position. Also pretty sure their 'skills' would have dulled after being strongest for so many years.

They literally killed the Dragon and for the sake of pride you put it on the back of a 15 year old girl. Then, in the greatest act of hubris, forgot you even did that and truly believed she did.

@EOTFOFYL Incorrect, there was an intentional gas leak and glorious leader Prince Zorzal El Caesar took a much needed smoke break after defeating the Red Dragon and the JSDF before breakfast. The Glorious Prince Zorzal was safe as he intended to redecorate the Senate building anyways to better fit the needs of the empire.
