so the principality is allowed to attack without any consequences, but when they lose even though they started everything without any legal reasons, they still get to negotiate part of their territory back without giving compensation??? wtf kind of logic is that BS
Basically the problem for the alliance boils down to them risking their lives trying to save humanity while preventing their individual nations from hating on other nations who aren't helping but profiting from the alliance's sacrifices.
@DarkLegions Even the empire thinks it is BS, but since politics is involved, they have to defend the principality despite fully knowing that they are in the wrong.
@DarkLegions
It's not really like that. The Empire doesn't like their treaty to be used that way either, but they do have to keep its letter and protect Amidonia's territorial integrity. Other forms of reparation, OTOH, are possible and, from the Empire's POV, desirable. They want Amidonia punished, they just don't want it to be in the form of land, or to the point that the state collapses.
So the empire wants the return of Van, which launched an offensive war on the kingdom they essentially lost?
I'd like to know what they plan to offer to persuade the kingdom that won.
If it's just threats they're clearly bullying.
I guess this is where the princess comes in? She makes a case that unlike her incompetent father and brother she can actually rule the nation without needing to attack other nations in order to revitalize the economy. Pretty sure someone explained her purpose to me but i’ve long forgotten
Are you fucking kidding me? I’d take a prime minister candidate than warriors any day. Someone competent that can manage a country and organize an army, is a lot more valuable than a battalion of disorganized army.
Don't worry, guys. That's the point of giving the locals food and teaching them about being happy instead of taxed to death previously. Even if Amidonia get their land back, people will rebel and rejoin Elfrieden or make their own sovereign kingdom. Even if Elfrieden don't get land, it's still a win.
Don't spoil Ai-chan. Ai-chan knows the future. Too bad Ai-chan doesn't have the queen's huge tits to go along with it.
