I think Diana envy the close relationship between Lapis and Natori. That vice president also said that if that uproar were to occur, Natori might be the first and easy target of the commoners since she is familiar of Lapis.

Diana is cute and good intentioned, but I can't root for someone that after all this time still can't say her crushes name right nor makes any attempt to try. Like, Lapis makes a lot of effort to get to know Natori, even if in the beginning only to manipulate her. Diana has really only been receiving. Even this right here is an example of her not really interested in knowing what Natori wants, but more about competing with the persons she views as her rival. Realistically, she's kind of a shitty suitor.

I think a far more interesting dynamic they are setting is the love triangle that could end up waging war. If "the hero" and the villianess properly assuming their roles only for the sake and fact that they want Natalie. There is certainly chemistry for both, and admittedly Natalie herself can't really stop them, so it's going to be interesting in how Natalie will overcome this. Like if this is going to be poly, it certainly will be after a major event where they come to understand each other better because right now signs are pointing to revolution.
