She's always had a tail. I'm pretty sure it's taken from a fox and attached to her belt though. So I guess while she 'has' a tail, she doesn't really have a tail.mimino has a tail? woah
Honestly I was hoping the artist included the part where the guy's face appears on the wall of dead people facesIt's been years since I've read the WN for this, but the framing and pacing the past few chapters has felt decidedly off to me. Like we didn't get a good shot of how the trap activated, didn't have them run down the hallway at all, and then it just cuts to them at a bonfire. Then Mimino gets mad then immediately is crying into Reiji's chest. Like no buildup of tears, none of her moving. Just feels ridiculously condensed.
yeah, that was crazy, like the condition was to continue betraying people 🤔🤔deserved fate, dude was pure trash, betrayed them over and over and he let them enter the corridor before pulling the lever to make sure they would die and he survives.
It's weird too how they shown him trying to save him, it really looked like he was going to be crushed more because of the saving than if he stayed in that spot and the slime came outta nowhere, in a mainly mechanical dungeon. It's been years since I've read the WN for this, but the framing and pacing the past few chapters has felt decidedly off to me. Sounds about right. Like Dantes said, this really is one nasty dungeon. So let me see if I understood the trap right. The whole thing was designed to bait a single person in to activating it themselves, where the fear magic would paralyze them long enough for the doors to seal them alive forever.
If the victim managed to escape the fear magic and the smaller room, the slime would be deployed to distract them long enough for the other set of doors to close at the end of the hallway, leading to them getting buried alive or crushed by the rubble.
Only by overcoming fear and pain would they be allowed to live.
NGL, feels more like the publisher is forcing the mangaka to cut down the page count to fit in short form media slot. Who cares that the product is all digital now, it's all about buzzwords, and meeting corporate dictated policy expectations. It's been years since I've read the WN for this, but the framing and pacing the past few chapters has felt decidedly off to me.
