This is probably the only love triangle that will resolve itself without drama, because even if Kaho quits the LMC, it doesn't seems like she does out of love drama, but because she feels she can't keep up with Tamaki being more talented, despite that she still went to see her last school concert

Meanwhile Tamaki and Kida are still band mates, so the love triangle didn't end in a complete mess, unlike everyone else so far

No relationship chart at the end? Now I am confused, what's going on? Who are these people and what are they to one another?

This is a flashback to Tamaki's first year on the LMC, (Tamaki is the vice president of the LMC, she is a lesbian, has a crush on a previous senior that already graduated, and Hatono may have a crush on her)

Tamaki's first band was made with her best friend Kaho, they were so close that Kaho already knew that Tamaki was gay

Eventually Tamaki meets Kida, a boy that is childhood friends with Kaho

Kida is quite a wholesome mama's boy, and unintentionally funny, making Tamaki bust a lung laughing

Eventually Kida joins the LMC, and ends up with Tamaki and Kaho's band

The band is quite mid, but Tamaki shows great talent and rapid inprovement at both singing and playing the guittar, this in turn gives Kaho an inferiority complex because she starts feeling like she is falling behind her best friend, and starts considering to quit

At the same time Kida starts to develops a crush on Tamaki, and it also turns out that Kaho had a crush on Kida, but as we know the rule of childhood friends is that they never end together

So now Kaho has to deal with the boy she likes (probably since middle school), having a crush on her best friend (who she knows is gay, and who is better at music than her), she was about to sell out Tamaki in order to break the love triangle, but instead decided to keep quiet, and skip practice, probably considering quitting the LMC, which we know she does since she is not a part of it in the future

Meanwhile Tamaki and Kida remain being band mates, we know that Tamaki is gay so if Kida ever confessed being turned down was not enough for him to quit the LMC

We also can kind of guess that Kaho and Kida didn't end up together, because in the future we get to know that Kaho hasn't seen Tamaki's and Kida's badn perform in a while, which would be odd if they were dating, for her to ignore her boyfriend and best friend's performance, so instead seems like Kaho just distanced herself from those 2

In Japan, the LGBTQ outing issue has become a social problem with several deaths. GMR's depiction of such social issues in this day and age without turning a blind eye to them is truly appreciated by Sexual minorities living in Japan.
Did I miss something? I think that the situation is that Kaho likes the guy, but the guy likes Tamaki.

Really difficult situation Kaho's in, when a friend improves so much you may feel like you're in a competition even when you're not, and that you have your place being taken from you, that can completely take away almost all the positivity of the experience and make you take foolish decisions. Good of her that she didn't buckle and end up doing something she'd probably never forgive herself for doing, and she has been such a good friend for Tamaki up to this point too! I feel like she'll choose to isolate and hurt herself over facing this head on and risk slipping.

It's not like the band couldn't have two vocalists who take turns depending on the song (like Tears for Fears for example), but it's not like she's in the mental spot where she'd be able to come to that conclusion, nor realise that the amount of pressure that she may be putting on herself to improve enough to catch up to Tamaki actually hampers her progress, or remember that she actually joined the club to have fun (at least I think that's why she did, it's not explicitly said). Ugh... this reminds me of my teenage and early adult years, good learning experience but it was painful to go through!

We're almost caught up. Thank you very much for the scanlation!

Also, really enjoyed Yume de Aetara from page 5, and it's a bit funny to imagine Yamazoe singing Kibou Joujou considering the dual vocals and his expression while doing it.

It's on page 17.
"Tamaki would never like you back because she might be..." be gay.
I think it was already established before that Tamaki was gay and some had hopes that Tamaki could like Chihiro (it's such a "wasted" opportunity, the way Chihiro crushes on Tamaki makes her very easy "prey").

Thank you, I totally misread the situation. I thought that Kaho was about to badmouth Tamaki or in some way redirect the guy because she wanted him but then felt bad.
