@migh Yes the romance is pretty good. Ecchi is about on level of High School of the Dead or HSDXD, it isn't hentai, but yes, they'll show tits. Yes there is a triangle, it isn't tasteless though, and honestly is just kind of a shadow factor for the first half. The MC evolves, memory loss plays a part, the manga shifts from many vibes. First its a girl torturing a dude who can transform into a furry, then (without really spoiling), it turns more battle royale-esque style. Then it turns into a really heavily story impacted thing, where backstory is important to present day events.
And these arcs/stories aren't just thrown at you either like certain Manhwas, they flesh out them and they begin to make sense.

Probably the biggest revelation is the male from the beginning reveals that he knows he isn't really "the main protagonist of this story".

Overall yes, read this. It seems severely underrated and looks like a really good series that I haven't seen for awhile.

@mAceOfHearts You're right. It spends quite a lot of time giving us glimpses of characters, fleshing them out between moments of fanservice. Still, just as the manga starts to become formulaic the real story is revealed, and I immediately became grateful that I was recommended this manga.

Never judge a book by its cover cause holy shoot, you will not regret reading this, especially if you like powers, great action, and dark themes. The powers are pretty unique, especially the MC's (not OP but not super weak either). The development is suspenseful in both character and story, and I hope the anime does this justice.

I think it's an okay adaption so far. There could definitely be some improvements but it's not terrible.

.. chapter 51 was the laziest chapter I've ever read. About half of the panels were reused. This is on an Evangelion level of budget crisis.
