Cut Akira some slack, folks. Yeah, she's starting off from a bad place, but that's what character development is for. The author is clearly aware that Akira has been a self-absorbed little bitch up until now, thus the multiple slices of humble pie she got served in this chapter. Give her a chance to learn and grow.
As for thsoe who are hating this because you "want Mayuki to be with Rin instead of Akira" I feel you're missing the entire point of the manga. Given how it's presented so far, this isn't about Mayuki choosing one or the other. This isn't about a couple. This is a story about a trio, where all three of them get together and love each other and teach and strengthen each other, forming a healthier and more stable relationship than any pair of them ever could.
