Goddamn, the art here is actually pretty good.
However, if this is actually serialized, it's still formatted too much like a oneshot. Such a clean cliffhanger isn't good if you plan on continuing the story.

So humans with beast-based super powers versus humans with super tech powered by their own bio-electricity.

Kind of a wilderness vs civilization dichotomy, I guess? Since beasts are the ones who live in darkness, and they’re either driven away from places people have settled in or live as scavengers from their trash, the same way the “old” humans are living in lightless slums.

I agree with the sentiment that the chapter gives the vibes of a one-shot, like the continuation from this point feels a bit awkward as a result of that feel. The setting also isn’t that unique, but I like the traditional power versus power format, and it’s nice to just have cool designs going at each other in battle.
