Is this a realistic possibility, I mean it would suck but they brought it upon themselves by being stubborn in that case. I do feel for the artist if this manga goes to waste any further so always hoping for the best.

Unlike Grapara, my friend told me the fmc of Ingoshima is the only one who is still a virgin. She was voted as the most favorite character, so the author is not stupid to destroy her and ends his life as the manga artist. LOL

Pretty rare for mangakas to get sued by publishers I think, last big case was like in 2008. Now GraPara! is/was doing pretty well with the live action and all that so maybe if the damages end up being enough?

In agreement with you there, I'd much rather see how KA writes herself out of this shit hole than see the news about a mangaka I know and her editor being sued by Kodansha because they FAFO'ed too close to the sun after 3 years with a manga.

Down for a ShinobuXMio ending since I'm a Mio fan second after Sakura. Airi is a professional so I expect a professional's attitude even if their fetish leaked through after 3 years of hard work. Ice has never been thinner, and until we see that final chapter, there's always a move that can be made no matter how broken things look since it's fiction after all and we're just speculating and applying realist perspective to our discussions.

This kinda of a ending is nothing new.Is just stupid ntr doujinshi ending.And probably Kodansha gonna ask her to do a happy ending for Shinobu.

There are numerous potential legal grounds for a compensation claim. LOL

For instance, there is the breach of contract involved in delivering a story that was supposed to be a NTR LOVE COMEDY but turned into only NTR, a clear violation evident to readers resulting in damages such as the inability to sell volumes.

Or another issue is the unauthorized invocation of Kodansha’s name (used to intimidate fans who asked her to rewrite chapter 129). I'm sure she did not consult Kodansha before posting that statement which drew a massive backlash against her and also implicated Kodansha as she claimed the publisher was on her side. LOL

Also, please don't forget that Grapara was adapted into a live-action version and involved various business entities.

Hence, it's not just Kodansha that have grounds to sue her (and her editor). LOL

Spinning a "happy" ending from the current situation would be a much better story in the end, and you could still say it's one that isn't out there yet, more justice for Shinobu!

Man, I think you already answered your own argument in the first paragraph, ntr love comedy. If Grapara had been labeled as just a love comedy, then there would be arguments for a lawsuit, but those three letters were always in the description. I think anyone who read the description knew that something like 129 could happen

Sorry to say this. If we say "Erotic Love Comedy", it means the core plot is comedy by subplots as love and erotic, right ?

The same as "์NTR Love Comedy", the core of Grapara must be "Comedy", not "NTR" as a core. Where is the comedy core ? LOL

So, there is no excuse for Airi Katsura (sensei) because Japanese language also has the same structure as English language (put adjective in front of noun) LOL

At the very least, KA does need to start showing a more positive direction change on Sakura's side or Kodansha's case against Airi could keep building. I don't think it'll become anything serious like a lawsuit, right now we just don't have enough chapters to see where everything is headed quite yet so we end up speculating towards topics like these to find assurance.
