Man, I think you already answered your own argument in the first paragraph, ntr love comedy. If Grapara had been labeled as just a love comedy, then there would be arguments for a lawsuit, but those three letters were always in the description. I think anyone who read the description knew that something like 129 could happen

That is true but she did everything wrong there:

1.She let the people get invloved with the main couple for 128 chapters and made the ntr super late(Probably doing a shockimg factor) and people would accept that more if it was made like 50 caps ago because they expected that.

2.The NTR felt really rushed,not well developed and the reason for that was ridiculous.


3.She probably didn't think she had a new kind of public reading the manga and mostly of them doesn't know how was her previous works and that kind of public(romcom fans) really are NTR haters.


4.The previous developments from her FMC made the NTR even worse and her character almost being dead because of her fetish.

5.She didn't think that Sakura is her cover girl so people would associate that so her image for the readers,publishers and general public is really damaged.

At the very least, KA does need to start showing a more positive direction change on Sakura's side or Kodansha's case against Airi could keep building. I don't think it'll become anything serious like a lawsuit, right now we just don't have enough chapters to see where everything is headed quite yet so we end up speculating towards topics like these to find assurance.

I agree. Even if Airi Katsura (sensei) is mad, she surely isn't stupid enough to let her life be ruined at the age of thirty. She would likely prefer a normal life over becoming a social pariah due to a scandalous legal case. She wouldn't want to bring trouble upon her family and relatives. And those sharing her surname certainly wouldn't stand for it too. LOL

The same as "์NTR Love Comedy", the core of Grapara must be "Comedy", not "NTR" as a core. Where is the comedy core ? LOL

So, there is no excuse for Airi Katsura (sensei) because Japanese language also has the same structure as English language (put adjective in front of noun) LOL

Right now there isn't any love comedy because the focus is on ntr. I don't think the example you used can be compared to NTR love comedy. Love comedy and erotic can coexist and be mixed together, whereas NTR and love comedy can't be mixed and can't coexist

I also think it won't ride the NTR wave until the end, since it is hard for NTR and love comedy to coexist, it will need the NTR to fade away eventually before the other can return, not sure what KA's vision of this is though.

Last major case involving a mangaka was like in 2008 and that time I think it was the mangakas that was suing the publisher instead. We're just yapping about this to entertain the idea and cope KA doesn't go full stupid the rest of the way.

Sorry if the random yaps caused any confusion. Everyone feels differently about certain things, no one really believes a lawsuit will happen, we're just coping that Kondansha pressure can do the maximum amount of good from here, last few chapter have been alright minus the failure to reduce Sakura hate, but 134 could very well spark even more Sakura hate than 133 did tomorrow oomf.

There was a sneeze gag moment dropped at the end of the Nagi/Mio meeting with the scene switch to Shinobu/Fumi so there was in fact about a 1% love comedy bit in the 99% dominated NTR manga state right now.

Granted I had a manga that I expect to go full super stupid not go stupid,weird thing is the fmc looks similar to sakura both are actress's except this one is famous and fucked in the head the mc is a simp obsessed over her meets a girl that really loves him but the fmc's kink is she wants to see him fuck other girls so you would think yep at some point she is getting tapped by a guy in front of him nope the mc cracks her and she swoons like a maiden in love at the sight of him telling her father who wants money from her to fuck off. Did not see that coming!

Oh art is very similar not so much that it's indistinguishable from grapara but close enough you could switch the two with causing an obvious difference this artist draws faces that look harder like there is more angry emotions their where as in grapara they have softer faces.
