I mean, if Grapara hadn't been ordered to wrap things up at chapter 137, the story would have progressed logically. Then Sakura will change her mind and date the fucboy not by doujin style forced sex or rape. Maybe Sakura break up with Shinobu and goes to fucboy in chapter 150, not with rushing plot as in chapter 129 then try to contral the damage from it.

Well, we still don't know if Grapara will end in chapter 137. If I had to give my opinion, everything seems to indicate that it won’t end in chapter 137 and we’ll be seeing more of Grapara for a while. And once again, it might sound like I’m defending the NTR or the cheating, but it doesn’t make sense for Sakura to break up with Shinobu and then run off with the fuckboy, the ntr was bound to happen, since it’s a central element of Grapara (and romcom)

I think her going down that road to depravity will make her cross paths with Shinobu sooner than later, no proof, just gut call. Also reliant on what fucboi's presence in the story will be from this point onwards as well, who knows, he could end up being the positive influence to make her say no and then I will truly be the one suffering til the end.

My only issue is beyond the upcoming movie arch what interesting story is there even left to tell to hold reader's interest? Everyone hates fucboiXSakura so more of that is just going to hurt the sales. ShiFumi is great, they'll do their movie, maybe it can extended to like 10+ chapters but after that it'll be curtain call for the manga barring some intense drama or putting Fumi through the rinse/repeat bait cycle Sakura 2.0 boogaloo. I think Shinobu and Sakura can reunite before 30 chapters, the setting allows for it (they're working in the same industry), but ig it wouldn't be a surprise if for some reason KA decides to milk it all the same.

The only other thing I can think of is a blackmail arc..? But ehhh.. at this point is it even something we wanna see? There's just no other direction the story can go. We've seen all the baits from the other arcs. All that's needed now is just all the resolutions.

The whole sex scene in a movie could have been an arc... If they were together. But they're not lol and as far as we know Sakura is showing signs of being single so who cares if she gets fucked a few more times? My care for it was gone the moment she had fuckboi. Like I still want her to have a happy ending but at this point if she sleeps with a few more men the impact of it all is pointless. It's just fanservice and I don't see how it'd contribute to her redemption.

I've read Metamorphosis, and even that didn't instill me with as much disgust, shock, and anger as 128>129 did. Slow burn ntr I get all that. Point is I no matter how shit of a creator you are, or whatever your fetishes be, if you trash one of your FMC's like this after 3 years of serializing and had no plans for any course correction, any aspirations you may have had as a regular mangaka need to be binned.

If you look at things from sakura's point of view everything that she did was fair to her but I don't think she intended to have sex with fuckboi but she wasn't against it she like shinobu was emotional cheating before anything phisical happened and she was most definitely into the sex with the last panel being a climax the first of many that then cuts to shinobu's perspective. But she doesn't know he knows what she did so she doesn't even know how badly she hurt him since he never had sex with fumi and was actively resisting that desire he doesn't give in until months later while she was immediate.

Yeah that's what makes a cheater so awful, they don't realize, or care, what it does to the other person. They spit in the face of their partner and betray their trust.

Whatever the reason for their cheating, there is a responsibility to communicate and break up before doing anything.

Sakura did none of that, why she did what she did doesn't matter. How everything was handled and what she did is what matters. She can learn and grow, but she can't be with the person she cheated on again.

Welp we're stuck with a much more compressed storyline now, I'm really not convinced Sakura is dating fucboi but can't deny it as much as I'd like to either so its back to the 134 waiting room ig. Thing is if the pacing wasn't rushed I don't see ShiKura actually breaking up if they were allowed to meet in person and talk.

But chapter 129 and 130 made people extremely hate Sakura and fucboy so that the pre-order of volume 13 dropped -> Kodansha talk -> the ending postponed but she must solve the problem -> instead of rewriting chapter 129 the root of the problem, she tried to retcon by using Nagi and Mio -> readers had negative bias to Sakura and this solutions turned to be bad -> what she will do next ..... !?
