Human supremacist in fantasy novels almost never makes sense when the other races in those stories are empirically better then humans, Elves usually have strong magical powers and long lives living for hundreds of years or even being immortal, dwarves have a mastery of smiting and tinkering, beast races have stronger physical strength, and then there are the dragon or other mythical races like angels and demons. So for humans to claim to be the best race in these stories never makes any sense to me. I know that it usually used as a metaphor for the real world but in the real world there is no major difference in people based on their skin color and thus racism and racial supremacy is usually based on some manufactured idea of a perceived superiority, that doesn't translate to fantasy when there are races with vast differences based on race in those worlds. A human with average magic power and physical strength would find it impossible to win a fight against any other race in a fantasy setting.

Most likely, though I'm just guessing, it has to do with the idea that the gods favor them. And if I recall correctly, the supremacist nation most of these antagonist humans come from is highly religious in nature. The Pope having more power than the King and all that. So it wouldn't be a far stone throw to believe this theory.

@Oberon_ @Vasqueztion I think what human benefit most are their steady population growth, in medieval era human usually married when they are 17-20, but elf usually reach adulthood far longer and can just have children for every few hundred years, dwarf have a different reason but they usually painted as workaholic and just interested in deepening their craft (usually smithing) to the point that dwarf marriage is like a national day for them. In short even if human is weaker, they can fight with number and every elf dead is far more fatal than every human dead (to their population).

I can;t help but feel in love with the guild branch employee's for their dedication and effort to think of the citizens welfare.
Its not they were their to work, its their capability to own the guild as if they own it, and extend the guild helping hands on the citizens to show how they care.

@otaku97 - people can't read her emotional state, because she blocks that magic. This is fine when she is being professional as a receptionist, but backfires when trying to butter up a kid. I guess it might provoke "uncanny valley" reactions from people.
On the other hand, people who truly know her, would be afraid for a different reason - she is totally overpowered, and even a god would not escape unscathed if she gets angry.
