thank you for another great chapter of this excellent series, I can honestly say this is my favorite vampire manga at the moment. I love the chemistry between Doctor J, Dorothy, and Maria its especially cool to see for once Dorothy be taken aback or weirded out by someone else's behavior. Loved The Rock reference. I sincerely hope Doctor J survives this arc she seems like a really fun and entertaining character.
I already ship Doctor J and Shannon.
This chapter gives some stuff to mull over regarding the vampire hierarchy at least amongst the purebloods they have a queen she seems to be some type of godlike or prophesied figure and based on Doctor J's comments I don't think its Maria's sister though she is aware Maria's sister is a dhampir. The ulterior purpose of Doctor J's device is draw in or alert her to the presence of strong hunters, perhaps to use as future experiment material or as a means of testing the capabilities of her projects, and she seems to think there is some special significance between the weapon's activation, Maria's transformation, and the fact that both things require the blood of a saint.... Which leads to the next question since Doctor J didn't fully realize that Maria was a dhampir until she transformed and it takes the blood of a saint for her to transform... how did they know Maria's sister was a dhampir because if it was via her transforming how were they able to get her to transform without a saint's blood? So that's a question for next chapter or future arcs lol.
It also looks like Doctor J has been augmenting herself.

Love the little details like the grenade launcher's iron sight being a holy cross. Science vamp is right, Maria's got a perfect bod. The comedy is on point again, like Dorothy educating Maria on whose snatch is better . Finally, looks like we'll see the vampire queen on, dare I say it, the Eclipse–it's Griffith... I like Shanon, but sucks she's the third wheel unless they go for a polyamorous relationship. Also, checked the author's twitter and saw a spicy scene between her and Maria in the future. Thanks for another chapter HS.

@tsuyukihime the first one to drop this manga if it turns out to be yuribait will be none other than me, rest assured!

Luckily though it seems that the author is into yuri (judging from his twitter where he frequently retweets yuri related stuff), so I don't think he's just baiting us here and I think he does intend for this to be full on yuri (if you needed more proof than what's already happened). Perhaps the romance aspect won't be fully developed like you'd expect but I think these two have already been in more gay situations than most, and likely will be in more in the future, so even if at the end their relationship isn't explicitly defined, as long as the two are together I think it's more or less the same.

We'll have to wait and see though.
