Pre-industrial era sure. But with modern medicine and medical equipment, that risk has dramatically dropped even in less advanced countries. In a fantasy moral reversed setting, every birth would be just as important so magic would fill much the same role as modern medical equipment, while apothecary and potions act as modern medicine. You seem to be thinking it's just some idea people had, but it's actually more logical than that.
Childbirth was risky as fuck, so waiting till 30-40 increases the risk significantly, not strange or region dependent, just how it is.
Where i can read it?The webnovel goes to the r18 stuff pretty quickly lol.
Despite that the world building is pretty interesting since the kingdom Phyllis works for also does some pretty shady stuff.
Cant wait to see more.
And you finished commenting without sauce?I'm waiting for one of these kind of series to do the whole men have become weak, submissive, and easily overpowered thing, only for the isekaid guy to be like an athlete or martial artist and is well trained to the surprise of all elitr warriors.
I know there is one series that's kinda fits the premise, but it relies on magic and the guy having a special skill, but I'm talking like pure physical ability.
It took far longer than the industrial era to get any real healthcare going though... The medical history is extremely bloody and disturbing, in a fantasy world it might progress in an even worse manner with who knows what kind of necromancy like practices.Pre-industrial era sure. So while there is some merit to birth being difficult for older women, there are mitigating factors in fantasy societies as well to offset those difficulties.
Fun fact: we have real world precedent for this. Across the ages in different cultures, women were sometimes treated exactly like this as commodities rather than people. I don't see why the reverse wouldn't be possible especially in a less socially developed time period like medieval times.I'm sure the other kingdom that treats the men like 'slaves', will actually have fairly low demands, like "you WILL have sex", I doubt a whip or chain are involved at all. The MC will probably charm that entire kingdom by being a basic bitch 'nice guy', and make them appreciate men and treat them like gods like in the FMC's kingdom simply by being a half decent non-self absorbed guy, and thus stopping the war... and maybe he'll change the minds of the men from that kingdom as well, by convincing them that women aren't that bad?
Of course, this is manga, so it's totally possible that the 'le bad' kingdom cartoonishly tortures the men (probably while the women make 'le evil' faces, with their tongues sticking out), despite the risk of having all the men flee and kill themselves, thus lowering their male population even more, but logic never applies to these things anyway.![]()

Anyway, this has gone too far off topic.
You have to wait until just before it rains while being chased, or at least until you find an uninspired writer. This must be one of those rare "lucky pit falls." Now I want to go for a walk in the woods.
