It would've been cool if the hand was permanently lost just because that's a really serious change that'd force some character growth in addition to the other lasting impacts, but at least getting it back still lead to some positive changes regardless. I appreciate that instead of just being a gag they showed that it took time, hurt like hell, and our two leads got a chance to bond and grow throughout the process; it'd feel like too big of an asspull if they hadn't. Not to say this makes it not seem like an asspull, it absolutely is, but it's nowhere near as infuriating or damaging as it could've been.

That was a full-on punch, dude, much better than a slap, imo, and fully well-deserved.

That was definitely more than a 'few' days that the prince promised to come and reconcile. 10 DAYS?! What could have held him up to not even apologize to her immediately after that?! And he had the audacity to yell at his victim after pulling her into one of his attacks. His head was way up there in his own ass. His ego must be shattered to have his engagement be annulled by his fiance than the other way around, more than how he was shown up by her magical talents from a while ago, I imagine.

royals and commoners live in very different worlds and the mindset of royalty basically says, never apologize. Never show weakness. You’re a king and thus you must be perfect. But the prince (eventually) rejected that and genuinely tried to offer up whatever he could as compensation even if it ended up wounding his fragile pride and ego. It looks like people were trying to stop him so he might’ve needed to spend some time arguing them down and getting approval from his parents

While limb healing magic might be considered impossible, I’m sure there’s some version of illusion magic out there so technically, it’d make more sense for this to be an attempt to manipulate him than an actual miracle.

it also helps that he’s got a very classist attitude. He’s the prince so therefore he should be the best and there’s no way his fiancé can be stronger than him since That means there’s something wrong with him. This, a commoner doing magic beyond even him is even more impossible and it’d hurt his pride to even consider it

so in his mind, he sees the impossible after actually feeling guilty about something for the first time in his life, and snaps out of anger. I’m sure someone would’ve eventually convinced him that he did just see a freaking miracle but not til long after his rampage ended. Not sure if that’ll happen now. His fiancé dumping him (further hurting his pride) might actually be a more pressing matter to him than the god tier commoner
mc came from lower class noble family not a commoner, though idk what rank.

While other people are bashing the not having a prosthetic hand thing, I do like it because it alludes to the sort of specialness that Serina has.
She's a human from Earth, to whom magic is alien, and therefore, she is far more aware of than anyone else.
She's a commoner maid whose skill with magic could potentially overturn the fundamental ideas of their entire society, she just lacks that ambition.
Once people realize she didn't fake having lost a hand for clout, they're going to realize that she actually healed her hand, and that's going to create some major waves.

Yep. Glad to see other people also thought the same as I did.

Also another hit to Leonardia's pride that a so-called "low class noble" is capable of doing something even their best magicians can't do, since they keep saying regrowing limbs isn't possible with magic.

Unfortunately, whether or not others will be able to replicate it is entirely dependent on how good Serina is at teaching biology. :ROFLMAO:

I'm more concerned that she'll be attacked for being heretical to their societal structure.
Low class noble with unprecedented magic control and abilities - High Magic Commoner - Villainess who just broke off her engagement with the prince.
Looking at it, their group is inherently opposed to the current kingdom. Given how few redeeming qualities Leonardio has been given, this might be a story where the kingdom's hierarchical society is the villain.

Serina got her hand back. That's good. However, I feel there going to be some kind of consequence for regrowing it.

Amelia ended the engagement. Good. There wasn't any love between her and Leonardia.

I was interested that they took her getting dismembered seriously…but “reconstructing your genes” is a god-tier asspull that I’m honestly kinda sad even if the consequences still happened.

Felt like they had their cake and ate it too.

Well, I did say she would regrow it, but instead of treating it as a joke as I initially expected, it ended up as a nice and emotional arc, even if just a chapter long that resulted in nice and tasty yuri.

Now then, fuck the plot, fuck the princes and just fuck... well maybe that is progressing to fast, but maybe start with a confession or hand holding you two twats.
And also she is no longer a one armed bandit, then better use those both to hold that girl for her life!
Yeah I also expected them to treat it like a joke. Instead it was really painful and led to people somehow blaming her for it (no idea what they were blaming her for tho)?

That magic gene strength was bullshit and you know it. Plot armor is strong with this one. Though I would’ve liked to see that become something permanent with actual proper consequences. Especially on how it may progress their relationship.

Still happy to see prince get punched. Asshole deserved it
what do you mean? It is very realistic. Say you draw 2 blueprints, one with regular ink and one with much stronger ink - the former will not do anything special, but the latter is going to conjure a house out of the paper! That's just how reality works~

idiot prince thought she faked it to earn a favor from him. His thinking makes sense since faking a lost limb is probably easier than healing one, but then she'd have no reason to reveal her healed hand unless she and his fiancee were just trying to fuck with him for fun

Not sure how this is an asspull when last chapter many comments predicted she would regrow her hand. We expected this.

"Gene strengthening magic" isn't less plausible than "any magic." If magic is part of the setting, be prepared to see some unusual feats.

Anyways! The Prince's pride is a big obstacle. He's more upset that he had to humble himself than that she lost and regrew a hand; especially when he caused her to lose her hand. It reflects on his character, and their noble society, that he can't see the POV of lower class nobles or even of commoners.

Now that the engagement is... contended, I think it becomes a Villainess/Gyaru Maid/Skilled Commoner Saintess versus entrenched power story. There's a link between noble pride and unearned power.
