I disagree. Sure, you are right with them taking her stoic attitude the wrong way but the brother is clearly different from the prince.
Her brother just thinks she hates him and is just a cruel person. You can see this by how he's very cautious and fearful of her (which is very similar to how the o.g. heroine initially saw Almelia). When he gets a glimpse of her softer side he loosens up a bit around her showing that he now realises that Almelia isn't as cruel as her personality suggests.
The prince however, despises her. He's the one who feels threatened by her skills, not her abilities. That's why he mentions a hunting event three years ago like it was something major.

Serina is just a dense air head and as someone who played the original game should've known that Amelia was in arranged marriage and had no love for that guy. It'll probably resolve itself next chapter but even with that it shows just how shallow this contrived trope is because there's no depth to it only comphet, misunderstandings and a dense protagonist.

Serina is trying to play Miracle as both Estelle and Amelia simultaneously and is so focused on the game that shes missed that these are people's lives shes literally toying with, and that while Serina is in the CGs as a colored silhouette (also the Tutorial Friend), shes not a character in game. Shes not considering herself as an active participant in these events so shes straight up "Somebody Else's Problem'ing" her own perception of Amelia's infatuation or Laktasha becoming a masochist-submissive-bitch for Serina's Domination.
