That's a pretty mild reaction to a lost hand from the usually loud Serina. It gonna be either "Estelle's magic is OP" or "your "useless" regen magic is utterly broken". The thing is, she's well aware of the fact she ISN'T actually capable enough to handle it. She realized that a while ago. The problem is more an instinctual bit to jump in anyways to protect Almelia (be it physically or her honor), even if it can and will hurt her.

What I wanted her to realise is the fact that Almelia like her and doesnt like the prince… All she ever does is “flirt” with the other girl and even give her “blessing” to the marriage, so kinda hoped this “fight” would have gone some longer so she realised how stupid she is…

I almost cried I love that her immediate thought was to protect Amelia in that moment. she could have died in that moment but Serina was like “must protect my lady” and if that isn’t the purest form love idk what is. I kind of hope that Amelia is full on bawling her eyes out over Serina in the next chapter
