I actually like Katherina and have since she was introduced. I acknowledge that shes arrogant and prideful in her behavior but it feels like its a bit of compensation due to circumstances she been in. Beyond those things she seems to be pretty smart ,hard working as shown by her achievements which can't just be handed to someone, and perseveres even in difficult situations. Even her showy looks only makes me think that she takes care of how she presents herself in public and not a matter of self centeredness. If anything makes me irratated is that she'll probably just wind up another member of the MC's harem which turns her into a mob rather than a standout.

The solution depends on what is their underlying issue that make them took to this facade in the first place.
She already recognize Wend as a person of high enough standing that gaining his 'recognition' is something towards her goal (bringing honor back to her family)
Wend just need to convince her that rather than trying to compete with him to prove to others (who probably won't change their mind anyway) the better option is to simply work as one of his vassal (which would grant her a title as well)

Bottom line is you either learn to handle them or you'll be forever annoyed.

Did you miss the page she mentioned even if she surpassed Wend in results she might not get titles by the fact she's female (she'll still get monetary reward, but that'll just attract hyenas after her money)?

If she showed fair sportswomanship, other people, whether they won or lost against her, or however they ended up interacting with her, would leave with a decent if not good impression of her. Now only a goody two-shoes, like the MC, would still appreciate her, whereas others would rather not meet her again or will think of her as an overgrown brat. What kind of status is she supposed to gain that way?

It IS stupid pride she's holding onto that led to this situation.
She herself should be aware that the self-induced 'solo' condition makes her goal practically impossible to reach, but she also doesn't want to feel like it's only by someone else's credit (via marriage) that she can fulfill her family dream.

Her manner of speech is blunt either because of the same ego issue or because in the past when she tried to explain her view people dismissed her opinion or call her nitpicky, so at some point she just stopped explaining- and only after interacting with Wend that she started to revert back to explaining things (like the 'meaning' behind her words to the other girls or telling him to eat more than just riceballs for nutritional balance)

She's not trying to gain status from connections with people, she's trying to gain it via hard, irrefutable results like Wend slaying dragon. The people who would scorn her for being a woman will do so regardless of whether she's speaking nicely with them.

Someone should give her a heads-up noting that she will need both achievements and connections to get anywhere in the society. After all, status is given by others, unless she claims a domain in no-man's-land out there, assuming there is some available, and builds her own country.

She will gain nothing from pleasing those who are against her on principle, but she certainly shouldn't want to turn the neutral ones against her. If she has too many enemies, they will try to negate even her legit achievements. Then the lack of allies would ensure nobody would bother to correct the injustice.
