This arc it's such a stretch. Takamine will revert time each time she'll remove her pantie between each break, since the goal is to see who can be the fastest and efficient closet to put it on. And the only one who can remember what happen prior to that is Shirota. So, she'll keep track of the score. Takamine won't cheat for Shirota. Because, If she really wanted to get rid of her, Takamine would have already done it.

Sooo, like it has been said, another test for Shirota to see if he'll fight for Takamine ? or Takamine want to teach him a lesson that he can't rely on her to solve all his problem by reverting time, like the first time he was trapped by Shinagashi . Id say i wish for this arc to be over but after that will likely only be another arc where takamine forgets all character develooment and acts like she did from the start again so really, i wish for her to actually grow and change as a person(which is probably too much to ask, i know).
We still dont know why she even has this neurotic need to be "perfect" in the first place(or why her perception of reality is so fucked) and we likely wont get a satisfying explanation at this point either.

But you see, if he loses then shell get to simply reset and berate shirota for his failure and thats something she loves to do so its a win win situation for her.

Well in this specific case its to add someone who can do perverted things with takamine without the losers who genuinely self insert as shirota (loner, average at school at best and bad at sports) feeling "cucked". Same reason why that lesbian childhood friend of shirota got so intimate with her, despite having a girlfriend and takamine having no romantic or sexual interest in her.
