That makes the course a total of 4 km (2.48 miles). That means that his average speed in the first run was of 5.95 km/h (3.7 mph). His average speed in his final run was of 8.67 km/h (5.39 mph)...
You can do whatever you want to motivate someone, that's impossible without months of training.
