Well I took a look at raws and next chapter is kinda filler but it gets interesting after that one since they seem to be conscious of each other.
ok with context its much better, im glad to see some progress (that doesn't mean i wont complain about the manga incessantly though)

Seriously would prefer it end with MC just saying yes I love someone and being let go as the closet. Then MC getting into an healthy relationship, bettering himself all around, getting into the college that Takamine's aiming for. Takamine sees this from the sidelines but its too late since she fired him. When she realizes her feelings and his for her and has the strength to admit them to Shirota, she has missed her chance and her power doesn't work. Or if her power did work, MC knows and hates her for undoing his hard work.
Dude, what are you on about? that would make for decent writting. We dont do that in this series.

Page 7: "The President is a caring person", so the author's jokes in this comedy manga have improved I see.
Dear God, the MC was one word away from finally being free of this prison and he tosses the key back through the bars.

After a while I find those funny. I can't get upset at that stuff. Someone else being upset doesn't get me upset. But I get you.
You know, that's a good mindset. Just laugh at the people taking the ecchi Manga way too seriously and expecting 5 star writing. That IS funny!

..."modern audience" being used to be spoonfeed the message....

There are studies on this now, and it comes from Netflix (I can't find the article): People are watching their phones while they're watching shows.

The audience is being spoon-fed because they aren't paying attention.

But, now that we've been spoon-feeding the audience, the audience expects the spoon-feeding to continue in all media.

We did it to ourselves.

s Takamine behavior about certain things not being disclosed in a better way, we have no idea if her defaulting to Shirota not being able to like her is caused by a previous trauma or by her own negative self-image (its obvious she is very good in putting up that public face to the point it rarely drops), the story also doesnt want to advance in certain key points (why Shirota is able remenber what happened before she rewinds time, if both have meet when they were younger and that was heavily hinted) and it is meandering, I think this chapter isnt meandering as it disclosed futher their own feelings and just because thats not a resolution doesnt make it bad.

I think we have another common trope that everyone has been kind of missing: Female leads that are upset about something must never actually say they're upset (and if asked, vehemently deny they're upset) nor identify what they're upset about.

It's been pretty clear that Takamine still likes him, but is also still upset with him and, in common trope formula, must let that constantly be a hindrance until Shirota -- through divine revelation -- realizes and addresses the issue. From the mysterious flashback we got a million chapters ago, we get a hint that something happened then to upset her, and she's also upset that he doesn't remember her as the one from 10 years ago (I'm guessing the years). So, a twofer.

Side note because this has been brought up a lot, too: Elementary kids aren't always recognizable in high school 10 years later. I couldn't recognize half the people that used to beat me up daily in elementary school (apparently I was a bully for a bit because I had a jean jacket in first grade, and I was reaping what I sowed -- I have no recollection of this at all).

Also, Shirota can remember and is aware of the resets because he saw her naked boobs in chapter 1.

So, to sum up: She can't advance because Shirota hasn't figured out what he's done wrong, and no one's allowed to directly tell him by trope law.
