The last page is so masturbatory that I actually respect it. Before going pro, the author's old webcomic, Caliburn (beyond what's translated on mangadex), was about the two leads sharing the same pair of shoes.

I think this chapter is really solid, and they have become a very synchronous and harmonious to one another. I dont get my ppl are dissing this chapter. I think the plot is beautifully drawn and written. The one eyes pair and the single shoe for mermaid, the connection was too epic! I can see that Adonis treasure Doroka in a heartwarming way although he's still crazy about his revenge. I hope the mangaka will focus on the pair's connection story a bit more, where they both can get to know and open up to each other. This hopefully will get them stronger with each other before battle with the queen at later chapter. I really root for the two to break the cycle!

I dunno why, but the author seems to enjoy mutilating the women more than men which, don't get me wrong, the gore is fantastic. But when you spend chapters after chapters blending witches and female enemies only to give almost all the male enemies sparkly or valiant deaths, it seems a bit bias. Am i gonna stop reading? nah. But i want to see more guys dying while kicking and screaming like a little bitch instead of "dying with a peaceful face" business.
