Ack! I read chap 8 and accidentally skipped 6 and 7. Oh well, what she said is true. At least she tried her best and because of that she wont have regrets in the future. But i know it's gonna get better. It has been sooo long that i wish there'd be a second ml, i wanna see ml on his edge that he missed his chance

As soon as the genki toy shop guy showed up I immediately thought, oh hey he looks a lot more compatible with MC. 😅 But I guess she does need someone who will balance out her genki-ness and watch out for her.

@Satansslut669 I just realise that Hana is part of the stereotypical FL group that is girly, usually don't think ahead but take actions based on their interest, kinda hot-headed, like to take actions, etc. In sum, all that I am so tired of in a seemingly "weak, silly, let people take advantage of" FL with ML (pretty stereotypical of Sunmoon too) coming to the rescues because he can't stop helping/being involved with her.

But... here goes the execution, character building, situational and scene play: Hana is NOT mindless. She is mature, reflects on her actions, and tries to be as considerate as she can. Even though she is pretty childish and go-with-the-flow at the time. Sunmoon is also not the showy type who initially often misunderstands-the-FL ML. They are pretty layered, the author really goes into explaining their actions and thought processes - which I really appreciate. It's similar to watching a movie, you know there's the hero, the bad guys, the happy end, but how things play out and how much developments are invested in the characters and the story make the experience a whole lot different :D

And throughout the last 3 chapters, I just keep thinking to myself: this is so Garbage Girl's kind of manga! And it is so enjoyable! Thank you 😚

@jackalan My bad that I just noticed this comment!!

I totally agree with you though! When I first skimmed through this manga, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to pick it up because the FL seems to hit a lot of the character tropes I don’t like (all the examples you mention lol). BUT, both of the main characters are definitely somewhat different and more developed than I initially thought. It’s pretty low-key/not over-the-top, and touches on many common themes in shoujo/josei, but I appreciate the ultimate thoughtfulness of both characters. Makes them feel more realistic and offers opportunities for subtle development.
